Wood<\/h2>\n

We have assessed over twenty woods for the design of the Rob Parry Originals. Together with designers and designers, the choice was ultimately made for four luxurious types of wood where the best interplay with the kvadrat fabrics was possible. Did you know that we select the wood ourselves by hand in wood attics according to thickness and wood drawing? We have chosen four types of wood that match the design of the chair: industrial and sleek. Each type of wood has its own challenges in the production process. For example, processing Weng\u00e9 wood is a precision job full of challenges, it splinters quickly and is very hard.<\/p>\n

The result of this handiwork is a beautiful processing, an eye for detail and a beautiful result.<\/p>\n

Maintenance of solid wood parts<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Cleaning of solid wood parts: A soft slightly damp cloth is sufficient.
The solid wood parts are finished with hard wax oil.
\nOver time, the shine of the
wood can disappear.
\nIf you want to bring back the shine you can apply the oil once every six months with a cloth
and spread it out well.
\nAllow it to dry for half an hour and then polish
the furniture with a soft dry cloth. <\/p>\n

Our fabrics from Kvadrat<\/span><\/h2>\n

For the Rob Parry Originals we use the high-quality and wear-resistant<\/span> Kvadrat<\/span><\/a> furniture fabrics that consist of 90% wool.<\/span> <\/p>\n

Steelcut Trio<\/strong> is a hardwearing woolen furniture fabric with the same construction as Steelcut. Originally designed by Frans Dijkmeijer, it comes in updated colors created by Giulio Ridolfo. The three-dimensional surface of Steelcut Trio resembles small pyramids or steel spikes. Despite the complexity of the innovative weave of the textile, it has a simple, precise expression. Steelcut Trio is yarn dyed and made from 3 different colored yarns.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fiord<\/strong> is a versatile wool upholstery fabric with a subtle three-dimensional appearance. Originally designed by Norwegian designer Tone Barnung, it comes in refreshed colors created in collaboration with Louise Sigvardt. Fiord’s construction combines a melange yarn with a unicolour yarn that creates pearl-like dots that play across the textile surface. This refined expression reflects a key inspiration behind the design: moonlight glistening like pearls on the rippling waters of a Norwegian fjord.<\/span><\/p>\n

Metal<\/h2>\n

The chairs are a combination of wood, fabric and a metal frame. This gives the chair its unique appearance. The frame is available in four different colours: Matt Black, Maronne (dark grey), Silver grey, and Argento (silver white). The powder coat gives the metal a quiet, unobtrusive matte shine and is also durable. When manufacturing these frames, special attention is paid to an effortless transition between the welded parts and each frame is individually inspected on arrival. The same applies here: quality.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
