De Klare Lijn has been a well-known company in Leiden for many years. Founder Hans Olijerhoek started his first shop in original vintage design furniture and lamps on the Hooigracht two and a half decades ago. The nice thing about the Klare Lijn is that there are now four shops in the center of Leiden, each with its own identity, based on the original idea: affordable, special and characterful home furnishings with an artistic touch. I think it’s a pretty well-developed concept. Because if you were to combine all four stores, you would have a cohesive range, aimed at contemporary interiors, but the stores each have their own atmosphere and collection separately.
